Fire Permits (Online Form)

Fire Permits are REQUIRED on a YEAR ROUND BASIS for all types of Open Burning. Burning shall be done in compliance with the Forest and Prairie Fire Protection Act and Bylaw No. 3-2001 Fire Protection. Fire permits are subject to any Fire Advisory that may be active and any further imposed conditions. Fire permits are issued for 14 days at a time.

FIRE PERMITS MAY BE OBTAINED USING ONE OF THE FOLLOWING METHODS:

  2. NOTE: Please submit a separate application for each section(/parcel) of land where you plan to burn. To get a new form, you will need to refresh this page.

  3. By appointment at the County Administration Office.

The County Administration Office is open 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday; and, is closed from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. for lunch, and on all Statutory Holidays.

Fire Permits are not issued after hours, on weekends or Statutory Holidays.  Please plan ahead.
